Guidance for Steam Generator Element Change

Power Supply
⚠️ Ensure the steam generator is completely disconnected from the power supply before performing any repairs or maintenance. This critical step, and all subsequent procedures outlined in this guide, must be carried out by a qualified technician.
Lime Scale Removal
- Upon opening the water tank, expect to see lime scale buildup on the tank walls.
- If you choose to physically remove the lime scale, first disconnect the water drain valve.
- Check that the fin tube between the tank and the drain valve is not blocked with lime scale debris.
Drain Valve Considerations

Failure to disconnect the drain valve before cleaning may lead to blockages, requiring replacement of the valve.

Although the water valve can be taken apart, be aware that doing so breaks the seal, which will cause leaks.
It is not recommended to disassemble the valve. If the valve is faulty or blocked, it is best to replace it.
Replacement Parts
New replacement elements come with rubber rings – always use the new ones and discard the old rings.
Reinstallation of Elements
When reinstalling the elements with the fitting plate:
- Tighten all screws evenly to ensure proper sealing.
- Avoid overtightening – tighten in a balanced manner, similar to how you would tighten lug nuts on a car tire.
